The outpouring of support generated through the Mardi Gras Ball will directly impact our ability to shape, change and save lives. What could be more important than that?” COGA President and CEO Dan Haley said he was overwhelmed by the generosity of COGA’s members and their families. “The life-changing work that the Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County does every day on behalf of the children in northern Colorado cannot be overstated. The leadership and staff of this great program work tirelessly to give these kids the resources and skills they need to have a bright and rewarding future.” COGA’s Vice President of Operations, Sara Reynolds, added: “Through our annual Mardi Gras Ball, the oil and natural gas industry in Colorado demonstrated once again its commitment to the communities, people, and shared experiences that make Colorado exceptional. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County is a tremendous example of a community-based organization that ensures equity and access to opportunity for every young person – especially those that need it the most. It is a privilege to partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County and advance our shared goals of making a positive impact in the lives of our fellow Coloradans, and the community where we live and work.” The total donation of $176,630 will be presented to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County’s Executive Director Terry Adams on Wednesday, May 15 by members of COGA’s management team, Executive Board, and Mardi Gras Ball sponsors.
