COGA announces the Community Impact Award winning companies at the 3rd Annual Mardi Gras fundraiser

DENVER – Inspired by the goodwill of Colorado’s oil and natural gas industry, COGA recognizes two companies during the Mardi Gras Ball who have best represented the core values of the industry by giving back in their communities and across the state with the Community Impact Awards.

The Small Company Community Impact Award is given to a member company who has less than 150 employees who fosters a corporate giving environment through company-wide impacts, as well as encouraging individual non-profit involvement. 

HighPoint Resources focuses their community engagement efforts on health and human services, education, and the environment,  with a particular emphasis concerning youth programs and education in areas of development. Annually, they invest both financially and with in-kind donations to various organizations and offer employee donation matching, sponsors volunteer activities, and encourages all employees to volunteer for non-profit community organizations.
 
President & CEO for HighPoint Resources, Scot Woodall was present to accept the Small Company Community Impact Award.

The Large Company Community Impact Award is given to a member company with more than 150 employees who leverage their size for a significant impact and focus on creating opportunities for all employees to volunteer.

DCP Midstream and employees invest time, talent, and hard work into organization that improve the communities where they operate, work, and live. Over the last 10 years, DCP’s charitable giving program has directed more than $10 million to Colorado’s non-profit communities while fostering a strong company culture of volunteerism and engagement.

Group Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary for DCP Midstream, Brent Backes accepted the Large Company Community Impact Award.
